A distributive polylattice is a set \(S\) with a family \(N\) of mutually distributive semilattice operations [see \textit{J. Płonka}, Fundam. Math. 62, 293-300 (1968; Zbl 0187.287)]. The author shows that the set \(N\) generates a symmetric median algebra \(M\) acting on \(S\).
