Coefficient formula and matrix of nonuniform B-spline functions (Q1208631)

The paper presents an algorithm for the computation of the coefficients of the restriction \(p(t)=a_{i0}+a_{i1}t+\dots+a_{i,k-1}t^{k-1}\) of a \(B\)-spline \(N_{i,k}(t)\) of degree \(k-1\) (with arbitrary knots \(t_ i\leq\dots\leq t_{i+k}\)) on any subinterval \((t_ j,t_{j+1})\) between two consecutive knots. The method is based on the Cox-de Boor recursive formula.
