The author defines a chessboard-like quadratic pattern in an Euclidean plane and regards distances, chains and geodesics between two elements (geobits) of the pattern. Then he studies a certain pre-metric concerned with this structure and considers rotations of geobits in this plane. The results may have some applications in astrophysics and computer graphics (the pixels may be considered to be geobits).
