A semigroup is called right-commutative if it satisfies the identity \(xyz = xzy\). The subdirectly irreducible commutative semigroups were described by the reviewer [Pac. J. Math. 17, 529-547 (1966; Zbl 0197.016)]. The author produces a similar description of subdirectly irreducible right- commutative semigroups.
