Non-existence of homomorphisms between quantum groups (Q1210378)

Let \(C_{\hbar,\psi}[SL(N)]\) (resp., \(C_{\hbar,\phi}[SO(N)]\), \(C_{\hbar,\phi}[SP(N)]\)) denote the algebra of functions on the multiparameter quantum group of the indicated type, with multiparameter \(\psi\) (resp., \(\phi\)). It is shown that there exists no nontrivial Hopf algebra homomorphism from \(C_{\hbar,\psi}[SL(N)]\) neither into \(C_{\hbar,\phi}[SO(N)]\) nor into \(C_{\hbar,\phi}[SP(N)]\).
