An explicit formula for the multiplicity of a weight in an arbitrary irreducible module of the classical algebra \(A_3\approx \text{sl}(4)\) is derived. First a recurrence relation between the multiplicities of the weights in \(A_n\) and \(A_{n-1}\) is derived.
