Summary: [For parts II and III, see the preceding entries.] The theory of note I [ibid. 3, No. 2, 79-101 (1992; Zbl 0777.47012)] is applied to the boundary value problem of elastostatics when mixed conditions are given on the boundary. The elastic coefficients are only supposed to be bounded and measurable. A detailed analysis is carried out for determining the base operator. It is shown how to apply the theory developed in the previous notes to the transmission problems for an elastic body which is formed by two or more different anisotropic and heterogeneous elastic bodies, one being clamped onto the other.
