Expansion growth of foliations (Q1261233)

Section 0 (Introduction) recalls in particular the notion of the entropy of a foliation and presents an outline of the contents of the paper. In Section 1 (Growth) it is defined the growth of an increasing sequence of increasing functions (an auxiliary notion). In particular polynomial growth and quasi-exponential growth is defined. Exponential growth of a foliation on a compact manifold is defined in Section 2, where certain properties of this notion are described. The case of a transversely oriented codimension 1 foliation of the class \(C^ 0\) on a compact manifold is discussed in the last Section 2.
