This paper is concerned with single-phase natural convection in a short, square-section, radial tube rotating under steady, laminar conditions. The differential equations governing continuity, momentum and energy in a rectangular cavity rotating about a vertical axis at various speeds are solved numerically using a finite-difference algorithm.
