A two-dimensional buoyancy driven steady laminar flow around a horizontal circular cylinder with constant wall temperature has been studied by making Boussinesq approximation. Bench mark solutions, accurate to minimum of three decimal places for Rayleigh numbers \(10^ 3\) to \(10^ 5\) and useful as standard comparison solutions, have been obtained by using a high accuracy fourth-order multi-point finite difference method together with a logarithmic coordinate transformation technique.
