This paper investigates \(\ell\)-derivative block methods; i.e., \(\ell\)- derivative \((k+1)\)-stage Runge-Kutta methods of order \(p=(k+1)\ell\), whose internal stage values approximate the solution of \(y'=f(x,y)\) at equidistant points with the same order \(p\). An explicit expression for the stability function is derived and its \(A\)-stability is checked with the help of symbolic computations.
