Remarks on multipliers for BMO on general domains (Q1261825)

For a general domain \(D\) in \(\mathbb{R}^ n\) the author considers the space \(\text{BMO}(D)\) of functions of bounded mean oscillation. He characterizes the class of pointwise multipliers on \(\text{BMO}(D)\), that is, the class of all measurable functions \(\phi\) for which \(\phi f\in\text{BMO}(D)\) whenever \(f\in\text{BMO}(D)\). His result is a generalization of work by Stegenga, by Janson and by Nakai and Yabuta who proved the theorem for \(\text{BMO}(\mathbb{T}^ n)\) or \(\text{BMO}(\mathbb{R}^ n)\).
