The author introduces a new type of ``almost'' continuity, which is logically intermediate between weak continuity in the sense of \textit{N. Levine} [Am. Math. Mon. 68, 44-46 (1961; Zbl 0100.186)] and rare- continuity in the sense of \textit{V. Popa} [Glas. Mat., III. Ser. 14(34), 359-362 (1979; Zbl 0451.54012)]. A routine analysis is provided on how this class of functions behaves under simple topological operations (such as e.g. taking the product function, properties of the graph function) on general topological spaces.
