A mistake in \textit{S. P. Mohanty}'s paper [ibid. 30, No.1, 86-93 (1988; Zbl 0651.10011)] is pointed out. It is noted that \textit{N. Tzanakis} and \textit{B. M. M. de Weger} [ibid. 31, No.2, 99-132 (1989; Zbl 0657.10014)] use their general Baker-type methods to find, as an example, all integer points on \(y^ 2=x^ 3-4x+1.\)
