Bias and tension, two shape parameters for convenient specification of the parametric cubic segment (Q1263920)

The paper describes a parametric cubic segment model, which allows controlling the shape of the interpolating curve via two parameters, called bias and tension. These parameters have geometric nature and their relation to the shape of the curve is intuitive. The description of the curve presented is intended for the interactive construction of curves.
