Tilings and discrete Dirichlet problems (Q1264274)

The main result of the paper is the correspondence between trapezoid tilings of general polygons and harmonic functions on planar Markov chains. A trapezoid means a quadrilateral with two horizontal edges. By a harmonic function on a Markov chain with boundary we mean a function on the vertices of the chain which is harmonic except at the boundary vertices.
