By using the Fourier series method, we obtain a general analytic solution satisfying arbitrary boundary conditions for the elastic bending of thick Reissner plates. Test computation are performed for uniformly loaded plates under two supporting conditions (four simply supported edges, or three clamped and one free), and the results are satisfactory in comparison with those available in the literature.
