The paper studies timelike surfaces of constant mean curvature \(H\neq 0\) in Minkowski 3-space. First the moving frame equations for such surfaces are derived in Lorentzian isothermal coordinares. An associate family is defined and a generalized Sym-Bobenko formula is given, defining the timelike constant mean curvature immersion directly from the extended frame by differentiation with respect to the spectral parameter. As an application, the immersions corresponding to the vacuum solution are discussed, producing timelike hyperbolic and circular cylinders. The last section discusses parallel surfaces.
