Erratum: Yang's system of particles and Hecke algebras (Q1268036)

Refers to the authors' paper [ibid. 145, 139-173 (1997; Zbl 0873.43007)]. This particle system we baptized ``Yang's system of particles'', because of Yang's important and fundamental contributions in the study of this system. However, it was rightfully pointed out to us that this attribution of the particle system to Yang alone does not do justice to the groundbreaking work that others did in this area before him. Hence we correct ourselves by giving a brief, but more precise account of the origins of the particle system. We emphasize that we do not mean to detract anything from Yang's contributions. We therefore suggest to use the commonly accepted name ``particle system with delta-function interaction''.
