[For part I see Colloq. Anal. 67, No. 1-2, 137-156 (1997; Zbl 0894.35055).] This paper deals with a special infinite reaction diffusion system describing coagulation and fragmentation in a finite domain \(\Omega\) with no flux boundary conditions. It is proven that the solutions tend to spatially homogeneous steady states, which may even reduce to a single equilibrium state under appropriate assumptions on the diffusion coefficients. The proofs are carried out in an abstract setting.
