Let \(V\) be an \(n\)-dimensional unitary space and let \(W_n\) be the imprimitive complex reflection group on \(V\). \textit{M. Broué} and the first author [Astérisque 212, 119-189 (1993; Zbl 0835.20064)] introduced the concept of cyclotomic Hecke algebra \(H(W,u)\) associated with \(W\). In this paper, the authors prove that \(H(W,u)\) is symmetric over any ring containing inverses of the parameters.
