Let \(T_1,T_2\) be Toeplitz matrices. Necessary and sufficient conditions are given for the skew-symmetric part \(U= 0.5 (T_1T_2- (T_1T_2)^\top)\) of the product \(T_1T_2\) to be Toeplitz as well. Some problems related to Hankel matrices are considered based on the relation \(H=TP\) between Hankel matrices \(H\) and Toeplitz matrices \(T\), where \(P\) is the permutation matrix with 1's on the main anti-diagonal.
