The author considers a subgroup \(G\) lying between the special and the general linear group of order 2 over the finite field \(\mathbb{F}_q\). A representation which arises from a natural action of \(G\) on a quotient graph of the Bruhat-Tits tree of \(\text{GL}(2,\mathbb{F}_q((\pi)))\) is described and its irreducible components are determined.
