[The articles of this volume will not be indexed individually.] This book presents papers where the transport in porous media, multiphase flows, etc. are studied both from mathematical and numerical point of view. The volume contains four parts: I. ``Mathematical methods'' contain papers devoted to the convergence of finite volume schemes for parabolic degenerate equations, error estimates for the finite volume approximation of solutions to a nonlinear convective equation and solutions to the porous medium diphasic flow equation, an analogue of Schwarz's method for the construction of Green function for Zaremba problem, and its application in underground hydrodynamics. II. ``New approaches'' deal with size and double-layer effects on the macroscopic behaviour of clays, parameter's sensitivity in water storage modelling for unsaturated soils, groundwater pollution, and with solutions for degenerate parabolic problems by relaxation schemes. III. ``Mass transport and heat transfer''. This part describes transport in saturated porous media, simulation of fresh-water/saltwater interface motion, numerical dispersivity in modelling of saltwater intrusion into a coastal aquifer, transport coefficients for hydrocarbon pollutants in aquifers, heat and mass transfer in cylindrical porous medium of activated carbon and ammonia, and finally natural convection in a square porous cavity submitted to different time-dependent heating modes. IV. ``Multiphase studies'' present adaptive meshes for two-phase flows in porous media, upscaling of two-phase flows in double-porosity media (nonuniform homogenization), flows of multicomponent gas condensate mixtures in fractured porous media, two-scale percolation-difference method to simulate the transport with trapping in porous media.
