The paper presents a systematical study of the normal forms of quadratic Bose operators arising in the simplest theory of ``complex germ at a point''. The authors construct a proper canonical transformation that reduces the quadratic Bose operator to a direct sum of finite-dimensional quadratic operators each of which can be reduced to one of the standard forms of real quadratic Hamiltonians (normal forms).
