The author discusses the problem of information entropy of polynomials \(q_n\) orthonormalized on the segment \(\Delta=[-1,1]\) with a probabilistic weight \(h(x)>0\) for almost all \(x\in \Delta\). Proposed is the procedure of constructing explicit formulas for the entropy of the Gegenbauer polynomials with integer exponents.
