The authors discuss the prediction of the response of structural systems to wind loads. The solution is obtained by using modal coordinates. In order to evaluate the stochastic structural response of considered multi-degree-of-freedom linear systems, it is necessary to calculate the corresponding spectral moments. To this end, the authors develop a procedure which is based on a polynomial approximation of frequency-dependent power spectral density of the input, and on the summation of closed-form approximate integrals over frequency intervals which cover the frequency diapason.
