We analyze an infinite plate containing an elliptic subregion with a uniform eigencurvature. The problem is formulated by using the classical plate theory. Employing Maysel's relation, an integral-type solution to the equilibrium equation is expressed in terms of the eigencurvature. Closed-form solutions for the displacement and resultant moment are obtained at interior as well as exterior points of the ellipse.
