The results of the author [Monatsh. Math. 112, No. 4, 281-295 (1991; Zbl 0737.39001)], concerning the Jacobi-Perron algorithm for linear difference equations are transferred to systems of such equations. The algorithm is used to characterize and to construct subdominant solutions.
