The paper deals with iterative processes of the form (1) \(x_{n+1}= f(x_n, x_{n-1})\), \(n\in \mathbb{N}\), where \(f\) is a continuous function from \(J^2\) into \(J\), \(J\) being an interval of \(\mathbb{R}\). The authors present some results relative to global convergence of iterative process (1).
