This is a collection that comes out as an open problem session in conjunction with the International Workshop on ``value distribution theory and its applications'', Hong Kong. July 1996. The problems involve topics such as complex dynamics, complex linear differential equations, distortion in several complex variables, dynamics in higher dimensional spaces, factorization theory, growth and distributions of zeros, Nevanlinna theory, Newton's method, value distribution of random series and \(\Gamma\)-lines and value distribution theory.
