Let \( C_{n}=\frac {1}{n+1} \binom{2n}{n}\) be the \( n\)-th Catalan number and let \( H_{n} \) be the Hankel matrix \( (C_{i+j})_{1\leq i,j\leq n}\). In this short note, the formula \( \det(H_{n})=1 \) is proved by an elementary computation. This computation enables to compute the inverse matrix \( H^{-1}_{n}\).
