With the aid of the concept of hereditary left weakly special class of rings, necessary and sufficient conditions for a supernilpotent radical class to be left hereditary were given by the author [in Acta Math. Hung. 71, No. 1-2, 123-129 (1996; Zbl 0854.16017)]. The purpose of the present work is to establish similar results for left strong supernilpotent radical classes as were established in the above paper for left hereditary supernilpotent radical classes.
