The authors investigate the propagation of shock waves in a mixture of a gas (air) and rigid particles. The effect of interaction forces between the mixture constituents on the medium parameters is studied for one- and two-speed models under the following main assumptions: the particles are incompressible, and the volume deformation of the medium is specified by the pressure and porosity.
