A frequency-domain approach to the stability analysis of linear singularly perturbed systems is put forward as a method that makes it possible to find an exact range of possible values of a small parameter and, hence, to ensure stability invariance. The method relies both on the specific ``breaking'' of a system in relation to the small parameter and on the application of the generalized Nyquist stability criterion to multivariable systems.
