The authors describe a new twistorlike extension of a two-dimensional conformal superspace which admits nontrivial central charges. The principal features include: a parametrization of the SU(2) spin symmetry involving a set of anticommutative generators which may be used to construct massless harmonics; the usual vector coordinates become complex; and the Grassmann coordinates reduce to a single scalar Lorentz invariant variable. The choice of an appropriate analytical subspace in the original conformal superspace is not obvious, but their choice admits the possibility of covariantly reducing the theory from the initial conformal superspace to a superspace of smaller Grassmann dimension. It is shown that by a special choice of the coordinates and flat space, one can obtain the Penrose twistor equation, and the Ogievetsky harmonics. Contents include: an introduction; notation and arguments; a description of the superalgebra; and perspectives.
