Comultiplication alteration by a cocycle (in a Hopf algebra) is studied, obtaining results which are dual to ones obtained by Y. Doi and M. Takeuchi. One of the applications is that a crossed coproduct over an inner comeasuring is isomorphic to a twisted coproduct.
