Decomposition quadrature formulas (Q1281220)

A class of decomposition quadrature formulas for the problem of integrating a compound integrand function is considered. Some variants of substitution of the initial integrand function by a more simple function in relation of the computational time are offered. An algorithm for the numerical integration of this function on a final number of knots is created. The evaluation of the error of the method is carried out. An example of application of the proposed method is discussed.
