The question of whether the finite non-periodic non-Abelian Toda lattice be completely integrable in the Liouville sense was raised by \textit{A. G. Reyman} and \textit{M. A. Semenov-Tian-Shansky} [see Dynamical Systems VII, Encycl. Math. Sci. 16, 83-259 (1994); translation from Itogi Nauki Tekh., Ser. Sovrem. Probl. Mat., Fundam. Napravleniya 16, 86-226 (1987; Zbl 0796.58017)]. In this letter the question is answered in the affirmative.
