Duality of observability and controllability properties of nonlinear dynamic systems (Q1282547)

The author establishes the duality between observability and controllability for discrete nonlinear dynamical systems. The paper has three parts: 1. A minimal image and a minimal preimage of the upper systems are introduced and the author proves their uniqueness up to isomorphism and their controllability. 2. The duality between observability and controllability is investigated in terms of function algebra. 3. The analysis of observability and controllability demonstrates their dual nature at the structural level and shows that their duality has a category-theoretic nature.
