A Littelmann-type formula for Duistermaat-Heckman measures (Q1283513)

This paper deals with a formula for Duistermaat-Heckman measure, similar on the surface to the original Duistermaat-Heckman theorem. The crucial difference is that unlike the Duistermaat-Heckman theorem, in which there is cancellation, all terms in the formula of the author are positive. To this end, the author makes the very restrictive assumption that the Morse function \(\nu\) is Palais-Smale, which in turn implies that its unstable and stable manifolds intersect transversely.
