This paper is devoted to studying the uniqueness problem for a Markov chain with stable and conservative Q-matrix such that \(q_{i,i+j}=0\) for any \(j \geq 2\) (single birth process). Uniqueness theorems are obtained for continuous-time process and for the discrete-time analog of the process.
