One considers the majority vote process on a two-dimensional torus. Let \(T_1\) and \(T_2\) be the consensus time and the time of the first change of the consensus, respectively. The main results concern the asymptotic behavior of \(T_1\) and \(T_2\) when the probability that the voter adopts the opinion of the minority tends to zero.
