The author considers the problem of adequate simplification of systems of differential equations \(\dot V=\underline{\overline A}V,\quad V(0)=V^0,\) when the elements of the matrix \(\underline{\overline A}\) are undetermined slowly varying functions of time and may vary within a finite interval. Using the order reduction method, the author constructs a system of equations which constitutes a decomposition model of the original system.
