The authors discuss the application of Chebyshev series for the solution of systems of nonlinear equations. Theoretical foundations for the use of segments of the Chebyshev series in the one-dimensional case are given. The approach is expanded to the multidimensional case, presenting computational formulas which are implementable in the MAPLE environment. Numerical examples are given.
