The author considers a boundary integral equation on smooth and non-smooth boundaries arising in a 2D nonlinear Neumann problem for the Laplacian. The paper discusses existence and uniqueness of solutions and proposes a Newton-type algorithm for solving the integral equation. Moreover, error bounds, various kinds of preconditioners and numerical examples are presented.
