The purpose of this paper is to give a generalization of the famous KKM theorem involving strongly decomposable mappings, and to give some equivalent forms such as KKM-type theorem, matching theorem, coincidence theorem. The results presented in this paper generalize the corresponding results of \textit{M. Lassonde} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 97, 151-201 (1983; Zbl 0527.47037)] and of \textit{S. Park} [Proc. 2nd Internat. Conf. on Fixed-Point Theory and Appl., Halifax, 248-277 (1991)].
