The authors first recall results from \textit{A. Friedman}'s book [Partial differential equations (1969; Zbl 0224.35002)] concerning the linear evolution equation \(x'(t)+A(t)x(t)=0\). Under conditions too complicated to be stated here, these results are extended (by contraction mappings) to \[ x'(t)+A(t)x(t)=g \Biggl(t,x_t,\int ^t_0 k(t,s,x_s) ds\Biggr) . \]
