The authors consider the multivelocity effects associated with the behaviour of gas or vapor bubbles in a region with high pressure gradients. Such a region is typical in the flow around a cavity in which the pressure is higher than in the surrounding space. For gas bubbles, the authors show that, taking into account multivelocity effects, the additional jet momentum is considerably reduced. The temperature distribution in the wake behind a vapor bubble becomes nonmonotonic, and the maximum temperature may exceed the initial bubble temperature. It is proved that the bubbles may accumulate, and a flow regime is possible in which sharply pronounced two-phase jet extends to the outer edge of the main liquid jet.
