The author considers the Ginzburg-Landau type energy, \[ E_\varepsilon(u)= E_\varepsilon(u, G)= 1/2 \int_G|\nabla u|+ 1/4 \varepsilon^2 \int_G (p^2-|u|^2)^2, \] with discontinuous constraint. Results quoted are discussed in other publications if \(p\) is smooth enough. In this paper, these are used to found a fruitful substitution for derive the similar results if \(p\) is not smooth.
